 It refers to a water-based or solvent-based waterproof coating made of asphalt as the base material and modified with synthetic polymers, mainly various types of rubber. This type of coating can also be called rubber-modified asphalt waterproof coating, which has great improvements in flexibility, crack resistance, tensile strength, high and low temperature resistance, and service life compared with asphalt-based coatings.

1. It has good high and low temperature performance, good elasticity and plasticity, hydrophobicity and adhesion, etc.

2. It has good tensile properties, heat resistance, and low temperature flexibility, and has good impermeability and corrosion resistance.

 

Work Suggestions
 

 

1. The base and joints should be cleaned and kept dry. Various joints and nodes must be filled with sealing paste to ensure that the base is flat, solid, without sanding, powdering, falling off, cracks, etc.

2. First, stir evenly with a handheld electric mixer, and apply it in batches. Each time, the application should not be too thick to prevent it from flowing; during the construction process, it is strictly forbidden to step on the undried waterproof layer.

3. About 7-8 square meters are used per kilogram. The next coat can be applied only after the previous coat is completely dry.

4. The coating surface takes about 2-6 hours to dry. After the surface is dry, the construction quality should be checked. If there is any missing coating or bulging, it should be repaired.

 

Transportation And Storage
 

 

1. Avoid sun and rain, and pay attention to ventilation.

2. The storage temperature should not be higher than 45°C. The stacking height of the coiled material should not exceed five layers when stored flat, and a single layer when stored upright.

3. Prevent tilting or lateral pressure during transportation, and cover with tarpaulin if necessary.

4. Under normal transportation and storage conditions, the storage period is one year from the date of production.

5. Construction is strictly prohibited on rainy, snowy days and windy days above level 5.

6. The temperature of the construction environment should not be lower than 5°C.

7. When precipitation occurs during construction, the protection of the laid coiled material should be done well.

 

Application Areas
 

 

Mainly used in the following types of building waterproofing projects:

1. Industrial and civil building roofs, including: non-walkable roofs, walkable roofs, non-insulated roofs, planted roofs, roof parking lots, inverted roofs and roofs with insulation layers.

2. Waterproofing of asphalt concrete paved bridge decks in subways, tunnels, bridges, and viaducts, as well as reflective cracks on airport runways.
